We have a roster of top mentors from Protocol Labs, Maker DAO, Metamask, Immunefi, and others to support you in areas such as community building, token economics, marketing, recruitment, legal, product or company formation.

No. The Filecoin Faber Accelerator is a 12-week fully remote program. We will support you but not overwhelm you with back to back talks and workshops. You will spend roughly one day a week with structured sessions and then we’ll get out of your way and let you focus on building and growing while we continue to be available to support you as you need.

We will work with you to identify which of our mentors may be better suited to help you and then create speed networking sessions to put you in front of the ones we think may be a good match. We will then iterate with you to give you more time with the mentors that can better support you. You will also have the opportunity to schedule office hours with some additional mentors. But at the end of the day, if there’s someone that is outside of our network that could be a great mentor for you, we'll work our own networks to help you reach that specific person.

As a first step in the acceleration program we will discuss expectations with you to make sure that it’s absolutely clear for both what you want to achieve. There is no one size fits all when it comes to expectations but at the very least we want to make sure you are prepared to raise the funding you need to take the next step in your journey.

This program will run for twelve weeks, starting in late April and finishing in mid July.

Any team, with a European presence, developing a business project connected to Filecoin or IPFS is eligible to apply. If you don’t yet have a company setup we can help you with that process during the program.

We have a strong preference for project that are already using Filecoin/IPFS, be it directly or indirectly through SDKs, APIs, etc., or are planning to use it. However, we may decide to accept exceptional teams that are addressing big enough problems even if they are not planning on using Filecoin/IPFS on the short term.

Faber has been supporting outstanding teams since 2013, and previous to that we had our own startups or were operators in growing businesses. We walk the talk and our portfolio vouches for us. We are usually the first call for the founders when they need help with their startups. At the same time, Protocol Labs has built one of the building blocks of the Web3 ecosystem and has been supporting developers and startups since day one. Regardless of what deep technical issue you are trying to solve, they have someone that can point you in the right direction.
